The first-ever Lizard Shanty Festival in Aid of The Lizard Lifeboat and hosted by The Top House Inn.
The Lizard Shanty Festival will aim to bring together the community in a celebration of Cornish Folk music, dance, camaraderie, and support for the worthy cause.
Throughout the day, people can expect an array of exciting activities, including live performances by talented local shanty artists, delicious food and drinks, and a variety of surprises that will make this festival an unforgettable experience.
Acts confirmed include Will Keating and John ‘the’ banjo’ Dowling, The Cadgwith Singers, The Press Gang, Hit and Miss, Toby Webb, – with more to be announced.
We’re looking for local businesses to support and sponsor the event. We are not looking for a lot, just some small input to make this event successful and raise some well needed funds for our local lifeboat.
